No Heartbeat.

We went to the doctor today and there was no heartbeat.  The fetus was measuring 8 weeks so according the doctors the baby died two weeks ago.  We are really sad and are coping the best we know how.  We don't know how long it will be before we can try to have another baby.  We know our baby is in heaven with Jesus.  It's just really hard to let go of the hopes and dreams that we had for/with this baby.  We pray God blesses our lives with another child in the future.  We would appreciate any prayers you have to offer on our behalf.  Love always.

8 Weeks

This week I decided that I was sort of "showing" so I took a couple of photos.  Here is one of them.

 Raven Rock

Craig's photography skills with the sunlight streaming in perfectly!
 Trying to find my center...haha.
Craig waded all the way across the river!  It was an average of 1.5 feet deep.
This shirt makes the "baby" bump look bigger than it really is...
 Super sweaty after hiking...
We went to Raven Rock State Park and I was proud of myself because, despite the fact that I'm pregnant and not feeling 100%, we kept passing people!  haha.  Made me feel pretty good!

We are Having a Baby!

On August 2nd we found out we were having a baby!  I took a pregnancy test when I woke up and set it down to get ready.  I figured it would say "not pregnant" because we thought it would take a few months, maybe even a year, of trying.  After I got out of the shower I looked and about passed out because there was no "not"!  It just said "pregnant" plain as day.  I couldn't wait to tell Craig, but wanted it to be perfect.  I searched forever for the perfect "daddy" outfit.  Since we obviously didn't know boy or girl I wanted it to be gender neutral.  Everything that says "I love daddy" is pink!  It was really hard to find something that would work, but low and behold I finally found a green sleeper after hours of shopping:  Babies R Us, Target, and then finally Kohls!  Our anniversary is the 5th so I decided to wrap the gift in a Victoria's Secret bag so Craig would think it was an anniversary gift...haha.  When he openned the gift he didn't get it at first...he was reading the card and what I wrote inside wasn't making sense.  I finally said just read that part!  Craig freaked and was like, "You had a positive test?"  Of course!  What a wonderful moment.
 Expecting some lingerie...
Still doesn't get it...the card had a baby foot on the front too!  haha.
The look on his face when he figured it out.  :)

 The parents to be...
